The lake's edge is shelter to some animals and a feast for others. Look for the park naturalist along the shore as we roll up our sleeves and try to observe aquatic creatures from a different point of view. We might find some minnows or dragonfly larvae, and, if we look closely enough, we may even spot the infamous grass shrimp. Water shoes are recommended but not required. Please contact the Park Office with any questions regarding park programs or to set up private programs for a group. ***Location detail: T-dock (Left of Beach) More information: http://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state-parks/holliday-lake.shtml
