Time to get your team together and start training for Hardcore Mudd Run 2020. Hardcore returns to Tussey Mountain on Saturday, April 25, 2020. ABOUT US Founded by firefighters, the HardCore Mudd Run run event raises money each year to help support the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and PSU THON. Each Hardcore Mudd Run is a fun, challenging and safe event designed to push you to your limits. Our courses use the environment, the elements, adrenaline-packed obstacles and real world firefighter training simulations to challenge you at every turn. THE COURSE We’ve pulled from our firefighting background to create challenges and obstacles inspired by real world firefighter training. Our teamwork-based obstacles are engineered to bring people together and inspire you to work as a team. This is a challenge, an event, a right of passage to become Hardcore! HMR 5K: The HMR 5K is a 3.1 mile course features 5-10 challenges obstacles. READY TO GET STARTED? I loved that it wasn’t timed, but was a challenging event. EVENT RULES All participants must be 18 years of age or older on event day OR 15 years of age with parent or guardian on site OR 10 years of age participating with parent or guardian. All participants must have photo I.D. to check-in. All participants and spectators must sign a suicide letter before entering course. Registrations and spectator tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. All participants must attempt an obstacle; any participant that does not attempt an obstacle, avoids an obstacle or is witnessed cutting thru the course is disqualified and will have his or her bib number removed but, may still continue thru the course. All participants must have a Bib number at finish line for a HARDCORE Mudd Run shirt. Any participants with a wrist band may consume alcohol at the finish line area. Once a participant leaves the finish line area they may not enter again. Teams must finish together. They will leave no man or women behind. No spectator may attempt any obstacle at anytime.
