Join Heather Bruegl, Director of Cultural Affairs, Stockbridge Munsee Community and Joe Baker, Executive Director and Co-Founder of the Lenape Center, for a virtual conversation about the indigenous histories of the Hudson River and the surrounding region. This conversation will touch upon Bruegl and Baker's work as contemporary advocates in their communities today. Joe Baker is the founder of the Lenape Center which aims to continue the Lenape homeland through community, culture, and the arts. In her role as the Director of Cultural Affairs, Heather Bruegl works to protect, preserve, and tell the history of the Stockbridge Munsee Band of the Mohican Indians.
Olana After Hours is a virtual platform for lively conversations with interdisciplinary practitioners discussing how their passions intersect with the ongoing story of Olana. Participants will be invited to join in the conversation so be sure to bring your own questions and refreshments to enjoy. Each conversation will be hosted on Zoom.
