Nutcracker Ballet

Ithaca Ballet joins with the Finger Lakes Symphony Orchestra for opening night of the beloved family holiday tradition of The Nutcracker. The magical tale of Clara and her dream of the Nutcracker Prince (and his wooden soldiers) battling the Mouse King (and his mice) which then transforms into the far-away land of the Snows and the delightful Sweets with dances of marzipan, chocolate, coffee, tea, Mother Ginger and culminating in the Sugar Plum and Cavalier pas de deux. Dancers from the area along with guest artist and children guests make the Nutcracker a family favorite. Matinees are 3 pm Saturday and Sunday.

Cost: Payment required - 10.00 to 22.00
