      Black Bike Week – CANCELED

      The City of Atlantic Beach has has canceled the 2020 Black Biker Week.   Initially the Bike Week was dates were in May, like always. Then due to Covid the new dates were in September.  But now, the City will not allow Black Bike Week.  Below is the information from on the Rally from before the cancellation.

      First, the Bikers Week will attract hundreds of thousands of attendees. It is held each year in the Grand Strand, Myrtle Beach, Atlantic Beach, and surrounding area. The Black Bikers Week is on the’s Major Motorcycle Rallies List.

      Both riders and non-riders go to the area each year to enjoy riding, checking out bikes and riders, parties, concerts, bars, contests, beaches, and other events. Although the name Black Bike Week implies that it is for only African-Americans, anyone and everyone who wants to come out for a good time is welcome during the Bike Week.

      – FEES: Some of the venues, parties, etc. will have fees.
