      Wreath-Making Workshops

The annual wreath-making workshops will be held this year on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 6–8 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 23, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. and again 3–5 p.m.; Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 5–7 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 30, from 11–1 p.m. and again 3–5 p.m.; Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 5–7 p.m.; and Thursday, Dec. 5, from 6–8 p.m., offering participants an opportunity to enjoy a hands-on start to the holiday season.

Local wreath-wrapper Reilly Romanoski and museum Director Patricia Henner, who has been conducting wreath workshops at the museum for over 10 years, will offer both novice and expert wreath-makers the materials and instruction necessary to take home a decorative wreath to last for months.

A $20 charge covers the cost of materials — one 12-inch ring, balsam fir, arborvitae and white pine boughs, pine cones, and ribbon to make a bow (with instruction). Feel free to bring natural decorations from your own yard to add to your special, one-of-a-kind wreath.

Because space limits participation to 14 people for each of the workshops, the museum encourages early registration. These workshops always fill up quickly.

Call 581.4100 for reservations or more information.

      Cost: 20.00
