How the Sun Powers Star Island

Hear a fascinating presentation by Richard Case, chair of Star Island’s committee for Strategic Facility Planning, about how the sun now provides the majority of the island's electricity. Off the New Hampshire coast, 10 miles from Portsmouth, Star Island in the Isles of Shoals is not connected to the mainland and must generate its own electricity. Richard Case will describe the hundreds of solar panels and dozens of batteries that furnish much of the island's power today. His talk is preceded by announcements of current and upcoming ISHRA activities.  Please feel free to invite friends to join you as your guests -- just RSVP for the correct number of people to help us plan.
