      An Acoustic Christmas

Trinity United Methodist Church and 3rd Street Coffeehouse present “An Acoustic Christmas”, a free concert for all of our neighbors and friends in the beautiful and historic sanctuary at Trinity! Featuring award winning songwriters and performers, the concert will include both original and traditional music celebrating the magic of Christmas. Performers include Steve & Wanda Langston, Aspen & Alice Black, Molly Otis, Mike Franke, Jim Page and Bob Schmucker. The doors will be open to everyone and EVERYONE IS WELCOME! For those who are able, we will be taking contributions for Family Promise of Greater Roanoke, a local network of 28 congregations and over 1,000 volunteers who provide temporary housing and meals for homeless families with children. Check them out at https://www.facebook.com/pg/FamilyPromiseRoanoke/about/?ref=page_internal

Trinity UMC is longtime landmark church and congregation, serving the Old Southwest community in Roanoke for over a hundred years. It is the home of Kids Soar, an after-school program that runs Monday through Friday and serves 40 children and their families with literacy services focusing on early childhood (1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade). Trinity is a loving and accepting congregation led by Pastor Joanna Paysour. Check out Trinity at https://www.facebook.com/TrinityUMC1903/.

Now in our 33rd year, 3rd Street Coffeehouse is a non-profit listening room run by volunteers and never has a cover charge. We are alcohol free and smoke free and feature fresh bakery from Evie’s Wildflour Restaurant and Bistro in Roanoke, along with a great selection of regular and flavored coffees, teas and cold drinks. We are located in the basement of the historic Trinity United Methodist Church and our door faces Mountain Avenue. We pass the hat for our performers and 100% of the money collected goes to the performers. Doors open at 7:00 PM.
