The Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena opened September 1995, a multi-purpose entertainment facility which is also the present-day home of the Western Hockey League's Spokane Chiefs and Arena Football League's Spokane Shock teams.

Depending on the stage's shape and location, The Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena can accommodate anywhere up to 11,661 people for concerts, 11,736 for basketball games and 9,916 for hockey. The Star Theatre is a smaller venue nestled inside The Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena with a maximum capacity of 5,529.
